Cuba issued this appealing sheetlet in 1984 depicting Luna 1 passing the Moon, which it had done in reality just over 25 years earlier. The sheet accompanied a set of six space stamps commemorating Cosmonautics Day, April 12. None of the other stamps in this set had a Moon theme.
