A stamp and mini sheet to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing. The main image is the famous photograph of Buzz Aldrin on the lunar surface with a reflection of Neil Armstrong in his visor. However, the composition has been altered for the purposes of the stamp. In reality, Aldrin was facing the lunar module, which was also reflected in his visor. Here the designer has placed the lunar module behind Aldrin, along with the Earth, which is shown unrealistically low on the horizon.
The stamp was also issued separately from the sheet and has its own catalogue number.
