Lacaille’s Caelum
On his 1756 planisphere Nicolas Louis de Lacaille showed Caelum as a pair of crossed engraving tools tied together with a ribbon. He named the constellation les Burins. This was Latinized to Caelum Scalptorium on the second edition of the chart in 1763. For a zoomable version of the second edition, see here.
